Praying with scripture is called Divina in Latin. Lectio Divina means “as we read the word, we can pray too”. Praying scripture is the practice of using God’s word as the foundation for shaping our communion with God to attract favour both for ourselves and others.
Scripture praying lays much emphasis on wording our prayer with the words of scripture. Someone calls it “praying God’s word back to God”. This is realising that prayer is a dialogue between God and us. Engaging the Bible and praying are the principal means of developing a deep connection with God.
All other spiritual means of grace and upliftment, like fasting, study, simplicity, worship, confession, and service, have their base in the act of reading the Bible and praying. By the example of goodness you presented, oh Jesus, let your goodness follow me and all that concerns me from now on in the name of Jesus. The goodness of God shall be my watchword today in the name of Jesus.

By the power of faith in God, I hide under your canopy of faith from now on in the name of Jesus. Strengthen my faith, and it works for my progress, success, achievements, fruitfulness, healing, miracles, etc., in the name of Jesus

By the grace of Jesus Christ, I shut the door against negative temperament affecting my life and all that concerns me today in the name of Jesus. Oh God, endow me wth a good temperament from today in the name of Jesus.
10. Prayer for divine healing
By the power of healing, I am free today from any infirmities and health challenges in the name of Jesus. Let your healing perfect your work in my life today in the name of Jesus. Every bondage of sicknesses and diseases, break and release me today in the name of Jesus,

By the power of God, who has all knowledge, I seek the knowledge of God to lead me in all my ways to do the right things and to make things right in the name of Jesus.

19. Prayer to receive kinds of tongues
God of all gifts, give diverse gifts to determine the kind of tongues in the name of Jesus Christ. Cancel all the powers that want to take away the gifts and replace them with worldly things in the name of Jesus.
