Notice that there were three sets of traders in our text. These are the Ishmaelite merchants, the Midianites and the brothers of Joseph. But they can be overcome by prayers.
While the first two are external, the latter are internal. Therefore, it is obvious that there are two groups of people who are interested in trading with your destiny.
Twice, Joseph was divinely given a dream of leadership. He had a dream where stars, the moon, and the sun bowed for him. He was born to rule; destined to reign. Each of his dreams pointed to his future of greatness and honour, of kingship, high throne, and uncommon influences.
Joseph, in his innocence, shared his dream with his father and brethren. And right there, the battle began. Hitherto, the brothers of Joseph had hated him for three things: for winning being their father’s beloved, for being clad in “a tunic of many colours”, and for reporting their misdeeds to their father.
And telling them the dream only caused him a greater trouble, for after hearing it, “… they hated him even more.”
But hot envy soon capped their hatred towards Joseph, and with envy came the murderous thoughts. This article analyses some dreams and their interpretations with prayers against all the bad prayers.
1. First Section of Dream: You Are Diverted from Your Purpose
Joseph’s father sent him to check out the welfare of the siblings and bring word back to him. But the mission of Joseph was diverted and aborted by greatness traders.

2. Second Section of Dream: You Are Stripped Naked
To strip is to remove your clothes and subject you to shame and disgrace.
- In your dreams, you discover that wherever you go, you do things that are not in your character.
- You put up habits that make you a disgrace, and in your sober moment, you wonder how, why, and how because that is not the real you.
- In your dreams, you always find yourself naked and unclothed in open places. You have been stripped.

3. Third Section of Dream: Your Favour Is Removed
They stripped Joseph of the coat of many colours. This was what the father gave to him as a symbol of favour. When you are the commodity of greatness traders, your favours are removed.
- Each time you are in a favour location, when it gets to your turn, it is stopped, you are jumped over, bypassed or asked to wait.
- Most times, what you have received is explained as an error and taken away from you.
Prayer Points
- God of favour, every spirit of ill-luck that makes favour and success bypass and deprive me of success, eliminate today in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Jesus, I recover what Satan has taken away from me from this moment in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Fourth Section of Dream: You Are in a Pit
A pit is a large hole dug in the ground. It is the symbol of a cage. It means you have been captured and caged, waiting for a time to either be sold off or taken by the enemy.

- No matter how much you try, you never succeed in getting out of the pit or getting help.

- Abba Father, powers that surrounded me with walls difficult for me to get out of in my dream and still manifesting live, break the walls today in the name of Jesus Christ.
- God, release me from the cage and trap Satan put me in today in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Jesus, every person or agent responsible for my slowness and delay on the way to success and achievements, render those people useless in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Father, shut the doors against hard labour, punishment and sexual violation in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. Fifth Section of Dream: You Experience Emptiness
They cast Joseph into a pit, which was empty, and there was no water in it. When destiny traders are at work in your life, there is a sitting feeling of emptiness.
- You lack desire, drive, motivation, meaning and satisfaction in life and with what you do.
- You are always experiencing dryness and a lack of refreshing.
Prayer Points
- Lord Jesus, every lack of desire, motivation, meaning and satisfaction manifesting in my life, disappear from today in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Abba Father, from now on, shut the doors against every dryness and lack of refreshing in my life from today.
6. Sixth Section of Dream: You Feel Summoned
The brother pulled up Joseph and sold him to the Ishmaelites for 20 pieces of silver. The idea of pull refers to being summoned without your consent. When you are a commodity of greatness traders, you feel summoned.
- In your dreams, you find yourself in strange places.
- Your nurse has suicidal thoughts
- Unexplainable sicknesses
- Constant tiredness
- Lifeless feelings
- Sometimes, strange objects move around their bodies
- There is a sitting feeling of fear which never leaves you.
- You feel monitored and followed each time

- Lord Jesus, evil power, making me see the spirit leave my body always, die today in the name of Jesus Christ.

Which of these signs have you noticed in operation in your life? It is an unprocessed or processed good. It is a product made available for sale. In our text, when the brothers of Joseph saw him coming, they began deliberation of how to sell him. he was the commodity.
