The only assignment or duty we have to perform in heaven is to join the heavenly bodies in singing the praise of God, the Almighty.
Introduction
This is confirmed in the book of Revelation chapter 4. And whenever the living creatures give glory and honour and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever,10 the twenty-four elders fall before him who is sitting on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever.
They cast their crowns before the throne, singing…”.The psalmist in today’s text revealed the content of their songs presently which we shall also join in singing at the close of the age; that is His faithfulness Vs 8b. In all situations, our God is ever and forever faithful for that is His nature and being.
Meditation
What condition are you going through presently? Why don’t you join the heavenly bodies in singing His praise and you will see Him entering into that situation and turn it around to testimony for you.
He remains a faithful God no matter the condition that the fellow who fined him or herself in such an occurrence what should be coming out from such is “thank God”.The people who witnessed the occurrence will also join them in thanking God for rescuing them.
Reviewing the two hymns below will teach you to understand that God is our provider and hope. There is nothing but to rely on Him for who He is. As we read the texts, review them, and then listen to the lyrics/tunes of the songs, remain blessed.
Hymn 1: God, the Provider
God, the provider is a hymn that teaches hope and encourages people to put more effort instead of giving up. The hymn contains four stanzas that will be analyzed one after the other. If you have been experiencing or going through one unpleasant situation or the other that seemed there is no hope. This hymn is for you. The ministration of this music minister will change your orientation for the better. Read and listen.
It is not to meet for Saints to fear
Nor for them to despair
For when they least expect His Help
The Savior will appear
Stanza 1
This stanza warns against the fear that can affect our beliefs in the Lord as a provider. We do not need to give up on our expectations. Remember that Jesus is our help and hope. He is there to assist you and take you out of the position of hopelessness. Whenever you need help, call upon Him, He will appear and save you.
When Abraham took up his knife
God’s voice said to him, “Stop”
The yonder ram caught by the horn
Shall substitute thy son
Stanza 2
The stanza two reminded us how God has provided a ram for Abraham as a burnt offering. God commanded him to make a sacrifice for him. Abraham believed in God and took a step. God saw the belief of Abraham and provided a ram for the sacrifice in the substitution for his son.
Do you believe God will provide a solution to the bad situation you are going through now? Success, happiness, and laughter will replace failure, sadness, and weeping of present situations. He will save you.
When Jonah sank beneath the waves
No hope of escape near
God sent a fish that swallowed him
And brought him to the shore
Stanza 3
The third stanza refers us to the day of Jonah when he sank in the waves. There is no hope or expectation of escape. It seemed the end was near. But God saved him from the willing death by sending a fish to swallow him and bring him to the shore.
We should not think of death as the lasting solution to our problems, bleak situations, present positions, poverty, unhappy homes, childlessness, etc. god is for you to save you.
With such great might and love
As this
Abounding in His word
I pray to bring my anxious cares
And leave them all to Him
Stanza 4
This stanza encourages us to key ourselves, understanding, reasoning, etc. in the love, and great might of God. His word abounds forever and we should always pray to god for his anxious cares. You cannot bail or help yourself out; try to leave your life in the way of God and get close to Him. He will surely save you.
Lift up your eyes and
Wait for His help
It may be long but wait;
Though the promise may tarry long
It soon shall come to pass
Amen
Stanza 5
This last stanza still encourages holding on to Jesus and waiting for Him to help us. We should not lose hope during the trials and temptations. Abraham did not lose hope in the Lord and the Lord provided him a ram in replacement of his son.
At times, God’s time may seem long; His promise may tarry long. We should wait and come to pass. What promises are you waiting for? Wait for God; He will not leave; He will hold up your hands and see you through. Listen to this hymn, sing, learn, and be blessed.
Hymn 2: For I know that My Redeemer Liveth
This hymn points us to the role of our Redeemer which is Jesus Christ. Our redeemer has a lot of roles and responsibilities.
The hymn takes us to understand that Jesus, not only lives on this earth after He has risen from the dead but also lives in heaven and prepares a mansion for us to live in. The hymn comprises stanzas and each of them has been analyzed. Read, be blessed, and listen to the tune to learn.
I know that my Redeemer lives
What comfort this sweet sentence gives
He lives, He lives
Who once was dead
He lives, my everlasting Head
Stanza 1
This stanza reminded us of the role of our redeemer. The redeemer lives everywhere in every situation of our lives. He is to comfort us. Though He has once died, He still lives; he lives within us; He lives around us; He lives in our career, business, education, family, job, ministry, etc., and He is an everlasting God. He lives forever!
He lives, to bless me
With His love
And still, He pleads for me above
He lives to raise me
From the grave
Jesus, my prophet, priest, and king
Stanza 2
The second stanza captures the love and the blessing of God. The Lord forever lives to bless everything that concerns me. He is our God who lives to love everyone and shows love.
Jesus pleads for us so that we can be worthy in heaven. Our redeemer lives in our lives to raise us from the dead and everything that has become dead in our lives. He is our prophet, priest, and king. He never leaves for a second.
He lives, in my mansion to prepare
And He will bring me safety there
He lives, all glory to His Name!
Jesus, unchangeably the same!
Stanza 3
This stanza reinforces our faith to understand that Jesus, our redeemer has good things for us in store. He is in heaven to prepare a mansion; He will then bring us safety for us. Jesus lives and never and can never die.
His name should be glorified in heaven, on earth, and everywhere. He cannot be changed; he is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.
He lives and grants me daily breath
He lives, and I shall conquer death
What joy and blest assurance gives!
I know that my Redeemer lives
This stanza gives the hope of everlasting life; life beyond. Jesus lives forever because He grants us daily breath. He overcomes death which is the pillar of our assurance and joy. Jesus gives the assurance of comfort, happiness, joy, and hope on this earth and life beyond (heaven).
He lives because He redeemed us from the judgment of sin and enemy (Satan). As one song says, “I know my redeemer lives, He lives forevermore…” Other related articles music and events may be assessed here. The hymnal ministration of this music minister will bless you.
