Through death, we have the benefit of there being different objects of worship in the world but tho-dearly states that he wants us to worship only Him (Exodus 20:1).
Also, there are different ways of worshipping God but the Lord clearly states in John 4:23-24 that God seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and truth.
You worship God in spirit when Christ’s death releases the Holy Spirit to enable you to worship God as the spirit leads and desires. This is beyond memorised recitations. The Holy Spirit is at the centre.
Also, Jesus is the Truth. When you allow Him to lead you to God in prayer through His name, you are in the realm of truth worshipping Him in Truth. At that level, all the shakeable gives way to the unshakable (Heb 12:28). You can read related posts on our event/music page of the site.
Corporate worship is also to our benefit (Heb 10:25; 1 Peter)
New Creation
2 Cor.5:14-17,Col.3:1-3
Can you imagine that you can be a brand new creation? If you would rather have a brand new car than continue to use an old problematic car how much more should you accept this offer?
Jesus changes people and I am a living testimony. Jesus has died on the cross just to achieve this goal. All those terrible sins and habits can be a thing of the past.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP) “Therefore if any person is [engrafted] in Christ (the Messiah)he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! Jesus wants to make you a new creation.
You are to be recreated. It is not a mending of your Old person but creating a brand new person in the spirit realm. Allow Jesus to take away the Old man and grant you the capacity to be a brand new born-again person with the old man purged away.”
Meditate
To onlookers, you are still the same but if they look well, they will know an exchange has taken place. The life of Jesus is now in control. Your mind is renewed and changed.

Colossians 3:1-3(AMP) “If then you have been raised with Christ[to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.
For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. I am a new creation. I am dead to sin, my life is hidden in Christ. God, help me to set my heart on heavenly Things above.”

Jesus’ death and resurrection open a new covenant, which is superior and nullifies prior evil covenants. When you were born, you entered into several covenant tenants. You automatically become a subject of your national covenants.
Some are brought into spiritual covenants by several other associations. However, I bring good news to you this day. You can get out of the old covenant and enter into a new one with Jesus and His kingdom. You will primarily become a citizen of the heavenly kingdom.
The seal for this covenant is the blood which Jesus shed on the tree of Calvary. All other human covenants are secondary and all evil covenants are annulled by this singular act of devoting your allegiance to Jesus.

You can partake in the glorious new package, which is far better than the old package. Hebrews 12:24 (AMP) And to Jesus, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance]

Hebrews 9:15 (AMP)[Christ, the Messiah] is, therefore, the negotiator and Mediator of a [entirely] new agreement(testament, covenant), so that those who are called and offered it may receive the fulfilment of the promised everlasting inheritance-since a death has taken place which rescues and delivers and redeems them from the transgressions committed under the [old] first agreement.
Lord Jesus, I accept your New Covenant. Immerse in it. Help me to understand, believe and obey the New Testament. the terms of the covenant so that You can move me from one level of glory into another until I fully enjoy the benefits of these covenants.
Miracles, Signs and Wonders
Acts 2:22,1 Cor. 12:10
The death and resurrection of Jesus opened the door for greater miracles, signs and wonders. Cod’s wrath against human sin has been appeased. The name of Jesus and his blood now open the door for great miracles.
The name of Jesus wrought miracles because Jesus is full of power, wonder and creative unction. He has the power to turn things around. Though God runs the Word with principles and systems, the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit cannot be fully systematized by human beings.

I am a systematic theologian but I know there are limitations to systematic theology because God is always breaking forth freshly. You can be an object of God’s miraculous intervention. He can break out afresh in and through you.
You can enjoy the miraculous intervention of God in your life and become an agent of God for miracles. Jesus died not because He has no power to save Himself but because He chooses to use His death to buy life for us. 1 Corinthians 12:7-10(ESV)

To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit…For to one is given through the Spirit the…gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles. Watch the video that talks about the greatness of God
Father, empower me with divine gifts to do extraordinary miracles for common goals. Help me to use these gifts to glorify you and bless your church. Help me not to commercialize it or augment it with evil power. Keep me holy enough to house your power.
Mercy
Titus 3:5, Heb. 4:16, Jude 21
You can obtain mercy, Jesus is merciful He can also go unto God on your behalf to obtain mercy for you. The mercy sits used to be in the Holy of Holies. Only a few people have the privilege of entering therein. However, as Christ rose from the dead mercy seat became accessible to all of us.
As you enter through the blood of Jesus you can receive mercy for your life and that of your family life. Brethren, you need the mercy of God. Mercy gets you what you cannot get by merit. Mercy is an unmerited favour bestowed unto you by God.
Meditate
Other people also have general mercy but there is special mercy for those whom God sought out as His very own. You can catch that benefit today. God through Christ’s death grants believers a waver on situations that deserve harsh treatment.
Titus 3:5 (ESV) he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
Father, I appreciate your mercy that saved me.

Hebrews 4:16 (ESV) Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Father, I confidently approach the throne of grace and I obtain mercy to receive all the help I need. Jude 1:21(ESV) keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. Let your mercy open the door of eternal life forme.
