The promise 3 John 2

The Apostle John said, “I wish that you prosper and be in health. The word wish is the Greek euchomai, and it means to express a need to God.

This expression, therefore, is a prayer. John would not have prayed about a need if it was not the will of God that was backed up by divine promise (1 John 5:14). The promise of health and living in divine health is covered in Scripture. Read the similar post on this page.

Bible Verses on Healing

In this sense, all healing is divine. Christian doctors always say something like this: Doctors only care; it is God who cures.

But divine healing in our context is the grace and ability to access by faith that which Jesus Christ paid for on the cross before the foundation of the world, without necessarily applying any drug. It is an experience that is meant to affect not only the human body.

It affects the total man, body, soul and Spirit. That is divine healing and deliverance. You may then ask, “Is this possible today? The answer is YES! Jesus Christ said to the disciples that he sent, “As you go, preach…Heal…cast out devils…” Matthew 10-7-8. Jesus Christ has not changed his words. He is the same even today, ay Hebrews 13:8.

Consider the following Bible passages that reveal God’s mind concerning healing and deliverance. Access your healing and deliverance by faith now.

It is the plan of god for you to stay and live healthy. The purpose is to make you prosper and serve God well. The word healing is not only relevant, it is also timely.

This must be so because divine healing and deliverance are included in the package of salvation which Jesus Christ paid for when he died on the cross, was buried and rose again in history some two thousand and thirteen years ago (Acts 2) 3 24.
