Monthly prayer work is properly done. Whenever we pray, we pray to receive answers from God. These prayers are for the churches of the Nigerian Baptist Convention and other activities in the Nigerian Baptist Convention. Ensure that you pray seriously.
Prayers for the months from January to March
1. Lord, generate in us the required strength for the assignment You have given us.
2. Lord, help us to work according to Your timetable that we might not cause unnecessary delay to the many exploits that You want us to accomplish.
3. Lord, make a message out of our mess and bring testimonies out of our tests. Pray for the NBC EC Meeting being held today and tomorrow.
4. Lord, may our joy, blessings, and breakthroughs overflow to generations yet unborn.
5. Lord, help me to constantly do things that will activate miracles that You have prepared for me.
6. Lord, visit us for a record-breaking miracle in Jesus’ name. As the first NBC Executive Committee meeting for this year is held today and tomorrow, we pray for meaningful deliberations and journey mercies for the participants.
7. Lord, wipe away our secret tears in Jesus’ name.
8. Lord, make our trials become great testimonies.
9. Lord, winds of adversity will not cut short our expectations from life.
10. As you keep your hope alive in God, it is well with you in Jesus’ name. We pray for renewal of commitment to the Great Commission as the Home Missions Emphasis Week commences today.
11. O Lord, give us the right perspective and approach to handle both problems and opportunities.
12. Father, grant me the courage to drop those things that are capable of hindering me from becoming the best You want me to be.
13. Lord, I will not become a dropout in the journey to the land of promise.
14. Almighty God, restore to us whatever loss we have suffered in Jesus’ name. Pray as Home Missions Emphasis Week (in All Churches) holds today.
15. Lord, let all scales fall off my eyes that I may see those things that have been freely given to me in Jesus’ name.
16. Almighty God, help me to fulfil Your agenda for my life, in Jesus name.
17. Lord, bring out the best version of me because You know what it looks like.
18. Lord, forgive us for our forgetfulness of Your faithfulness.
19. Lord, fulfil Your plan for me to flourish in Jesus’ name.
20. Lord, address every failure to excel that is causing the absence of mental, spiritual and emotional stability in Jesus’ name.
21. Lord, cause our dry bones to live and thrive again.
22. Lord, let our spiritual synergy work miracles for us.
23. Lord, let the story of my encounter bring men to You.
24. Lord, regardless of what people have put me in a pit or prison, put me on the throne, prepare for me in Jesus’ name.
25. Lord, empower me to become the person You envisioned when You created me.
26. Lord, help me reach my full potential in Jesus’ name. Pray as we experience Good Friday today.
27. Lord, help us to choose what will give us hope for the future, not things that will paralyse us.
28. Lord, grant me the grace to enjoy what You have given me in Jesus’ name. Pray as we experience Easter Sunday today.
29. Lord, may I keep on walking and working, keep on keeping on till I get to the destination prepared for me. On this Easter Monday, we thank You, Lord, that by Your huge sacrifice we can live free.
30. May generational blessings from God come our way today.
31. God Almighty, be merciful and be gracious to us in Jesus’ name. As we celebrate Easter, may God’s resurrection power refresh us in all areas in Jesus’ name.
Prayers for the Months from April to June
1. Lord, visit us and handle our critical situation in Jesus’ name.
2. Every reminder of loss in your life is terminated in Jesus’ name.
3. Lord, grant us the grace to see and act in the best interest of others.
4. Lord, direct our steps this season in Jesus’ name. Pray for CED Literacy Mission Week (All Churches) starting today.
5. Father, uphold us that we will be able to keep Your precepts.
6. Lord, we cancel every evil handwriting concerning us in Jesus’ name.
7. In the name of Jesus, nothing will stop what God have purposed for us. As the Sunbeam Week begins today, we declare that the children will grow in grace and the knowledge of God.
8. Lord, as we hearken unto Your voice, let Your blessings pursue and overtake us.
9. Lord, our sun will not set at noonday in Jesus’ name.
10. In the name of Jesus, rise on your bed of affliction.
11. Lord, help to make accurate and ethical adjustments wherever they are needed. Pray for Sunbeam Week Programme commencing today till 16th of this month.
12. Father, open our eyes to know the environment of our operation in Jesus’ name.
13. Holy Spirit, assist us to make decisions with precision and clarity.
14. Lord, let Your signature be upon the canvas of my heart.

17. Lord Jesus, tune our antenna to the frequency of the Spirit. Pray for the Convention-in-Session at BICC, Lufuwape, that begins today.
18. Everything that needs to be altered in line with God’s power principle will manifest in our lives this season in Jesus’ name. 19. As we receive God’s word, it will change our situations and circumstances in Jesus’ name.
20. Nothing in your life will act contrary to the word of God today. May God’s manifest presence be evident as the Convention in Session begins at the Convention International Centre.
21. Lord, use my life to prove to the entire world that I am significant in Your scheme of things.
22. Lord, deliver us from all manner of bondages we are experiencing.
23. Lord, let those things meant to ridicule result in things to celebrate us.
24. Lord, restore our dignity and glory.
25. Father, let what You are revealing bring transformation to our lives.
26. Lord Jesus, may the work I do for You be counted as good.
27. Father, give a listening ear and obedient heart to Your word that I might not make a shipwreck of my life.
28. Lord, make us people of vision.
29. Lord, make us experience new heights spiritually, physically and financially.
30. Father, may I not carry a good weapon with a weak hand?
Prayers from July to August
1. Everything you have lost spiritually, financially, physically, and marital shall be fully recovered in Jesus’ name. Pray for the MMU One-Day Prayer being held today.
2. Lord, move into my situation and cause a turnaround.
3. Lord, work out the person You want me to be today.
4. Lord, address every weariness of soul and inability to delight in life.
5. Lord, guide me to the best version of myself.
6. Lord, all the delays we have encountered will not end in denial in Jesus’ name.
7. Lord, orchestrate in our lives things meant for the fulfilment of our destiny.
8. Lord, make my life a long fast against sin and a lifelong feast of obedience.
9. Lord, let Your prophecy concerning me locate me. Pray for the Mother’s Day programme holding.
10. Lord, speak inside of us today and raise us.
11. Father, grant us the grace to pursue, overtake and recover all in the mighty name of Jesus.
12. Lord, on this Mother’s Day, help our mothers to overcome all forms of insufficiency syndrome in Jesus’ name.
13. In the midst of ravaging scarcity, grant us abundance.

15. Lord, I will not be ignorant of Your time of visitation upon my life and family.

17. Lord, turn my captivity around, and all my gains will be to the glory of Your name.
18. Lord, give me my own permanent address so that I cease from moving from place to place.
19. Lord, let the power in Your Word propel children, men, and women to obedience as the Children’s Day worship service takes place and Christian Education Emphasis Week begins in all churches today.
20. Lord, we manifest Your glory on the face of the earth.
21. Lord, let there be an invasion of righteousness in the lives of our children in Jesus’ name.
22. Lord, as one saved by grace, may I not live as orphans on the face of the earth.
23. Lord, let the essence of redemption manifest in the life of Your people. Pray for Children’s Day Worship Service week for All Churches holding today.
24. Lord, may we move from shame to fame because of Your name.
25. Lord, we will dispel darkness wherever we go in Jesus’ name.
26. God of salvation, let us have our share of Your daily loads of benefit today in Jesus’ name.
27. Lord, help us as parents to pass on faith to our children. On this Children’s Day, we pray that nothing will cut short their lives in Jesus’ name.
28. The Lord shall teach all our children, and great shall be their peace.

Prayers from September to October
1. Lord, walk this month with me in favour, miracles, victories, and fruitfulness. We pray for the success of the 125th Graduation Ceremony of NBTS, Ogbomoso, taking place today. May the graduands be strong and courageous to face the tasks ahead.
2. Lord Jesus, bring forth the day of our vindication in Jesus ‘ name. We pray for the success of Annual Youth Week, which begins today. May the wisdom, strength, and power of God be constantly available for our youths.
3. May we not weaken the faith of our children by the kind of life we are living? We pray that the Conference Presidents’ Retreat, which begins today, will be for God’s glory and purposes.
4. May Your workings in the past shield us from the bobby traps of the enemy.
5. May our memorial stones be our faith boosters. Pray for the success of NBTS, Ogbomoso, 127th Graduation Service holding today.
6. Father, our hearts will never be cold towards you. Pray for Youth Week beginning today.
7. Lord, release upon us fresh craving for prayer. Pray for the Conference Presidents’ Retreat being held today.
8. Lord, unite our hearts to fear You.
9. We uproot all inter-structural hindrances and sectarian tendencies in the church.

18. Father, make us resolute people to contend with faith handed over to us.
19. Holy Spirit, help us not to forsake the ancient landmarks.
20. We ask for the enthronement of Your Word in our midst. As we celebrate Father’s Day, pray for them as the Holy Spirit leads.

Prayers from November to December
1. Lord, I receive Your plan for my life this month and the power of possibility to live it. We pray that churches will become true ambassadors of Christ as they attend the GMB Church Growth Conference, West at Bowen University, Iwo, beginning today.
2. Lord, make me realise and utilise my potential.
3. Father, my possessions will not be swept away by injustice.
4. In the name of Jesus, I conquer my airspace to win the war on the ground. Pray for Royal Ambassadors Week starting today.
5. Lord, I receive sevenfold what the devil has stolen from my life.
6. Lord of Hosts, You will never lose any battle over my life.
7. Lord, straighten the path for the Royal Ambassadors as RA week begins today in Jesus’ name.
8. Lord, I declare the rule of Your kingdom over my life, family, church and nation.
9. In the name of Jesus, I command you, Satan, to lose your grip on the people of God.
10. Lord, the comfort of Your kingdom will be our portion this month.
11. Lord, shake the foundation of every prison to release them from everything caging them.
12. Father, our minds will not be blinded to the light of the glory of Christ.
13. Lord, there is no backward movement You, so we move forward in Jesus’ name.
14. Lord, we will sing of Your mercies forever as NBC observes Night of Wonders. Pray for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit as the GMB -Church Growth Conference, East, FBC, Ahoada, Rivers State, holds today till the 16th of this month.
15. Lord, we will not confuse Your voice with mere noise in Jesus’ name. Pray for the CED Conference, Ibadan, Osun & Oyo and Ogun Conferences. (West 1) Hebron Centre, Ibadan holding today till 17th of the month.
16. Lord, by grace, set us up on our feet so that no one will bring us down.
17. I will not fall for the devil’s argument that appeals to reason against God’s Word.
18. Lord, grant me divine recognition for my life. We pray for the success of Health Week, All Churches, beginning today till 23rd of this month.
19. Lord, uproot negative things that have been planted in our lives, whether already manifesting or not yet manifesting, as all Baptist churches observe Health Week.
20. You will not become a victim of an evil agenda that you did not know anything about.
21. May God’s choice and election take the Lydias to places as they observe the Lydia Week in Jesus’ name.
22. Divine enablement is Your portion today. Pray for the CED Conference Ogbomoso, Ondo, Oke-Ogun, Ekiti & Kwara Conferences (West 2), NBTS, Ogbomoso, beginning today.
23. You will walk tall by the grace of God.
24. Father, cause me to be full of the blessings of the Lord.
