I was reading a post by my friend Tammy Dunlap yesterday. Tammy Dunlap is a blogger who shares inspiring stories and what she calls “sonshine” with everyone. Her post was about how to get over writer’s block. I found it really helpful. The post was called Eight Great Points to Ponder When the Writer’s Well has Run Dry.
This made me want to write a post,t so I came up with a list of ideas for Christian bloggers to write about. These are not topics but rather areas that can be explored to come up with many different topics.
I tried to suggest some topics for each idea, but there are many more possibilities. Some bloggers have written about one of these ideas and still have a lot to say after many years.
It’s worth noting that this list is not complete. While it can be a tool to get our thoughts started, we should not just pick something from the list without thinking about it. We should. Ask for guidance from the Holy Spirit when we write, both when we choose a topic and when we develop it. When we do this, God can use our writing to help our readers in ways. Then we can say, “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes”. Psalm 118:23.
